The anterior transverse arch is not visible from the side, but it is located behind the heads of the metatarsals. Recessed front foot arches can create a lot of pain in the forefoot when subjected to load. It may increase the occurence of calluses, and cause the foot to feel tired. The metatarsals of the forefoot become more susceptible to being overloaded. This can also give rise to Hammer toe (toes become excessively curved).
Ortolab insoles:
The combination of the dynamic support in the foot arch and the dynamic pad (the front foot pad) supports and relieves the anterior arch of the foot without inhibiting its natural range of motion.
